Silo -- Projectile Wars
For the HP-48SX
Written By- Virgil Wall, Jr.
Aug 30, 1990
When finished uploading, a directory named 'SILO' should be on your HP48.
Select this directory and select the variable 'SILO' to run. ** Note ** Be sure
to be in degree mode not radian and also it helps to be in standard display not
fix or sci. I did not think it necessary to set the flags from within the
program as this would change the modes without the user being directly aware.
How To Play:
Real simple:
Player 1 is on the left -- Player 2 is on the right.
Positive wind blows to the right -- negative to the left.
Always press a key other than 'ON' when the screen freezes
this allows you to see results before prompting for
input.
The game is exited at any time with the 'ON' key.
Enter angle's of elevation in degrees.
If you want sound be sure to set beep on under 'MODES'.
Have Fun!!!
[Note: DOS 5.0 users may recognize this game. It comes free with DOS 5.0 as a
demo of Quick BASIC, where it's called "GORILLA". Also, it will look
familiar to True BASIC users, where it's called "POTSHOT". What we really
need is an ML version, for speed. -jkh-]
